looks. :D

I owned an 08, but I kinda like the exterior design of the 02-05s better. Interior, no. The 06-08 interior is much nicer.

For me the perfect year was the 06. Upgraded headlights(which I like more) but you keep the smooth tails(which I like more). Only year those two crossed over. Plus the 06-08/09 interior is much nicer IMO. I had an 04 before my 06. The seat are more comfy to me in my 04 but the everything else I feel the 06 beats it on. (not talking about the MDS since I only get 2500 trucks).

Just get an 05 SRT-10 and this discussion would be over. My favorite truck to date. But just wishful thinking.

Wow thoes pics were nice. I was looking at 04 and 05's that had like 70-80k miles on them for around 12-14k. Just didnt know if I should get one of them because I really dont drive much to worry about miles, or wait another year and save to get 06-08.. leaning more twards 04-05 just because I want my car soon haha I cant wait any longer

Biggest change PCI bus to CAN bus. Pretty much makes anything electrical/electronic non-compatible between the 2.

Pretend I'm an idiot. (Not that difficult)

What does PCI and CAN mean?

Truckless...
I had an 05 1500 Hemi and loved it. I actually prefered my interior on the 05 vs the 07, only because I hate the gray in mine now and loved the black interior.

In my opinion, you would be just as good with an 04-05 over a newer truck

Here is the 05

And my 07

Bus refers to the wiring circuits, PCI (Peripheral Controller Interface) and CAN (Controller Area Network) refer to how the computer modules talk to each other. Wikipedia has a good explanation IIRC.
