So im getting ready to put a 6" rough country lift on my 06 ram 1500 4x4. Before i do that i want to find and fix this noise. When i am driving and i turn i hear this knock. Like if a shock was bottoming out or maybe its a ball joint? Buddy said to check my cv axles. Im replacing the struts cause i was told i cant put the lift in with the rancho quick lift struts i currently have on the truck. What is my best option to finding this problem. Any help would be great guys.

Also maybe ya might know why the truck has no power when towing. I have a k&n cold air intake, flowmaster exhaust. Just didna 700 doller tune up.

I would agree with bhonshell37 and check your CV axles. The "no power when towing" thing is a bit of a loaded question. Factors such as millage, maintenance, condition, gears, tire/ rim size, lifts, added weight, weight your towing etc etc all play factors in the outcome along with others
