Cruise control quit working, dealers says replace pcm 1000. I dont believe the pcm is the problem everything else works fine, came up with 0954 code open circuit or short, the light come on in the dash it just wont activate the cruise, replaced the steering wheel switch, this problem is really getting under my skin, any help is appreciated

I had the same issue along with a 4wd that wouldn't engage
Well long story short
They ended up replacing a speed sensor that was damaged.. give that a shot
