How many miles on it?
Ever done a coolant flush?

Could look at the heater core.

Does it over heat at highway speeds or all speeds? Does it overheat just from idle?

overheats at startup........once it opens up a water circulates everything is fine.........
it will peg out the temp until it starts circulating.......is there anything besides the thermostat that would stop flow?

I took the thermostat completely out and letting it cool off.....gonna see what thet does.....
