Which 3rd Gen Ram would you buy?

I am looking to buy a 3rd Gen ram. My dad has a 2005 with the 5.9 Cummins and he loves it. Before I buy, I would like to hear what other ram owners think and which year model 3rd Gen Ram they would choose, and why you would choose that one? Thanks in advance!

If it was me I'd get 2006 5.9 cummins I think that was the last year for the 5.9 any how get the last year for it its bulletproof and there are tons of upgrades available to be found and cheap

Voted 04 because that's what I bought. Depends on what engine you want tho. Gas engine I'd go 04-08 depending on price and miles. Diesel I think 06 was the last year before all that extra emissions crap? I'd go for a year or two before that.

The 07 5.9 will be the jackpot. 06 is good too as its basically the same truck. I have two 07 5.9s, both haven't given me any issues at all.
