Looking into getting 4.56 and a limited slip out in due to me and the wife looking at travel trailers. Wondering what kind of rpm you guys run with you trucks at 70mph with no trailer just cruising down the hwy. what kind of mileage difference did you guys notice. Also what would be the average cost of parts and labor for this?

Thanks all

Depends on the area. Just one axle, I've seen prices range from $$400 to $600, parts and labor per axle. I've heard with 4.56 you'll lose mpg on the highway, but if you are still running stock size tires it might not be so bad. Good luck!

I paid $200 for gears and $475 for install on my 2005 dodge ram, open diff, they also had to notch the top of my differential because the new gears were huge!

Your not burning a tire out constantly with 4.56 and an open diff...?
