I'm planning on using the diesel bumper inserts for trucks without tow hooks on my new bumper and have a thought for a new project going through my head, but need some dimensions.

If one of you wouldn't mind measuring the height and width of the opening in the center for me, it would give me a huge head start in ordering some supplies.

i had to re read your post and make sure this is what you need measurements on. in the pic below you need the height and width of the opening in red circle? the chrome is curved on the ends so it might not be exact

No, I just need the measurements between the plastic inserts inside the chrome bumper.

I'm not sure I follow, my bumper doesn't have plastic inserts. Unless you Mean the fog lights. I'm home right now and the space where the tow hooks are is 3" tall by 47" wide. But the width I measured front the top part of the chrome where it curves up.

The Rams without tow hooks has plastic inserts on each side where the tow hooks would be. I just noticed that yours has the tow hooks, so you don't have the pieces I'm talking about....... sorry.

**** I've never noticed that before... I figured the 2500s an up had the tow hooks lol

Yeah, this particular insert was found only on Ram diesels without tow hooks.
