I passed emissions with my cam/tuner combo today. The cam was put in about a week after I passed emissions two years ago and I've always wondered/worried if I would be OK.

Excellent! Fortunately we down in South Central Virginia don't get the sniffer version. So even if you had failed couldn't you have down here and gotten a state inspection?

No, you have to get the inspection in the county you register your vehicle in.

Here it dosen't matter what county I go to, actually the neighboring county town is closer and is where I have done inspections for years.

We used to have to do the tailpipe sniffer, or the dyno sniffer......now they just do it via ODBC.

our inspection place is set up for the OBDII but they still do it with the sniffer, kinda stupid if you ask me
