Yesterday I traveled 5 hours to look at a 2008 ram 2500hd quad cab long bed. The drive train was really clean and it was practically rust free and the interior was in grat shape. After finding out that it had a 7/10 repaint job and some Bondo I was already not on good terms with the dealer because of how he talked about it on the phone. It drove fantastic and the engine compartment was last minute poorly cleaned but it looked as if they were trying to cover something up. Here's what turned me away, the fuel econ Avg was 9. I reset it before the test drive and it went down to 7. now I know this thing is not a fuel saver. I was expecting around 13ish but 7??? that put up a red flag for me and I walked away.
