I just blew out my rear end with 163k miles on it. I have a 5.7L with a 3.55 limited slip differential. What if I upgrade to the 3.92 limited slip? How much torque would I gain? Would my truck be able to handle the difference in the RPMs because of the milage? New or used?

You won't gain any torque, but your acceleration will be better. Your RPM difference will be a little more but not extreme. The motor should be fine.

The general rule has been 33 and taller 4:56, shorter 4:10. As a guide I use 4:10 gear with a 28 inch tire. 2150 at 65mph. 18mpg hwy
Hemi likes to turn up a little.
