I'm still wanting to change my lower ball joints and I got as far as I could go last time I worked on them. These oem joints are odd with the little tabs or whatever on them.

What do I do to get them out? I tired putting the press on it and no luck. They press downwards correct?

And any suggestions on setting up the ball joint press for the best results?

This was my progress. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1335501593.028733.jpg

Hmm mine were able to press right out, we a real ***** but came out, and yes the go down, my press was being funny and I set it at the edges, did a little reposition and did some more. I know you are supposed to do it on the middle but mine would not stay there so I gave up and did it of the edge

Put your ball joint press on there...get it as tight as you can go. Then give your nuckel a good smack with a hammer a few times. This "should" knock it lose and allow you to press them more
