Thinking of getting one of these to practice my launches and 0-60 acceleration trial times.

Anyone have one of these on any of their current or past vehicles? How did the times compare to to 1/4 time and trap speeds?

I was looking at the cheap 1994 model but may splurge for one of the recent year Pro SS products.

Thanks.

I am stacked so only tire size changes, pid logging, code read/clear are pretty much the only options i can use w/ my 3815.

Plus the GTech has a Suction Mount which helps keeping both hands free :p

Ah fair enough. On that note I'm not familiar with the G tech but I'm sure someone will be able to help you!

I have seen it before but not sure how accurate it really was. I know the AI in my truck will do all the 1/4 times 0-60 and what not and was dead on with a time slip I had.

From other forums i am on it seems most members indicate the 1/4 and trap seems to be accurate but not so in other features like dyno hp/tq.
Maybe one day i can upgrade my gauges to a single AI.

A buddy of mine had one when I had my old "hot rod". Hp and tq were fairly accurate. They read about 30 high on both sides but the 1/4 mile times were dead on down to the tenth
