I know it won't they suck, interesting using the steering though, I have just learned of a tool that goes over the bolts to beat it out with or using a socket, after years of fighting these things, the trailblazer shocked me when it fell out after loosening the bolts, those ones are super easy wish they were all like that.

Same thing happened to me when I worked on our 2003 trailblazer years ago, undid bolts, gave it a small tug and it was out. I was hoping for similar experience on this one.

Check out the videos on youtube, using the the steering makes it very simple. Just make sure you have the opposite side wheel up in the air too otherwise the wheel moving on the ground will move the whole truck, scared me that it would come off jack, I put up the other side and then no worrys.

Good luck.
