My truck has been having issues lately, and I have narrowed down a couple and have fixed them. I got new hubs and discs which solved my wicked low speed chatter and a few minor other things. Its sitting on 20's with 33x12.5 tires which im going to 17s on 33x10.5 or 11 can't remember exact width, this I think will fix some stuff as well as not murder my wallet on tires for 20's.

The big aggrevating issue I can't nail down is. At low speed and high speed when I let off the gas and then get on the gas again there is a pretty hard jolt which feels like its right under thr cab. This occurs randomly, it was in the shop the mechanic couldn't duplicate it and I had him ride with me a week later after the rotors were installed and still nothing. Anyone have any ideas what could be going on.

Check your U-joints. They might worn out or you might have a Trans that starting go out.

Yeah not sure about the u-joints but tranny would be my guess.

I would say check the u-joints too. Those are also the cheapest to replace lol

Truckless...
Idk if that would be u-joints but if it is, its definitely easy to check and sol e that issue. Personally sounds transmission related to me.

Trupiano - It has 85k on it, I don't know when the tranny fluid/filter were changed last. I bought it used and don't trust people or their idea of good vehicle maintenance so I have had a few things done maintenance wise so far and going to be changing tranny fluid/filter, diffs, transfer case here hopefully in the next couple weeks.

Would the slushing of the gas feel like a hard jolt? Hear that occurs on 4g's

EDIT: oops Cancel that as i thought this was the 4G section.

haven't been on here in awhile. Thought I would follow up on this issue. All the u-joints are good, got the transmission tuned and fluids/filter changed. Now no more jolt, which is awesome.

thanks. I'm glad it didn't end up being anything major.
