limited slip?

My question is, where can I find a limited slip differential for my hemi for a good price? i hate my open differential and I want this to be my next mod.

any suggestions?

I don't know where to find one. Mine came with limited slip and 3.92 gears. I love them. Launches hard. On a well prepped track, no wheel spin at all. Just hooks and goes. If you you get it done, you will love it.

yeah my friend has same gearing and differential as you and i love it! i HATE having only one wheel spin so much!

Junkyard might have a limited slip rearend. Or you could get an aftermarket unit I believe

it depends on if i can install myself lol i dont wanna spend more than 500 for the unit itself

do you happen to know how much the install would be? or could i do it myself with just basic hand tools and a little mechanical knowledge?

I had mine done the same time as the 4.56's so there was no extra charge since the carrier needs to come apart anyway for the gears. Only labor was for the gears which for was $300.

im not gonna go with new gears because mine is a 4x4 and it would cost a bit more. but thanks for the part number, i found it for $450 or so shipped!
