You could build your 5.9 pretty nastey, as fas as I know you can build it like any other small block 5.9.

yeah it's kinda disappointing it's a beautiful truck but it's just been a headache. the rust came on pretty fast as did the cracks. neither were there when the truck was purchased i've tried to slow the rust sanding it, hitting it with naval jelly and painting but it hasn't helped. hopefully once i get the engine lined out i can find a nice molded dash cover. and the rust i don't know what to do other than cut it out and throw the flares on it, as the rust is already rolling out to the fender.

LMAO i just went down the road in my explorer.... and thought "what a year i'm having with vehicles" the dodge started the head gasket problems a little over a year ago, i blew the top end on my 79 sportster chopper, rebuilt it this spring then ripped an oil line loose, drove it about 10 miles with no oil in it and burnt up the bearings. have an 82 honda i thought would be my next project to make me a little bobber or whatever out of so it's in the garage right now gutted. and my explorer hardly gets drove and it's the only backup 4 wheeled vehicle i have, my girlfriend usually is driving the dodge.(come to think of it woman driver that's probably the whole problem lol) and now the explorer has been acting up hard vibration, and electrical issues. and the only thing left for me to ride right now is my 95 bobber which has recently acquired a new noise in it as well. i usually am on one of the bikes anyway but winter time is coming on and i don't mind riding in the cold but it does get old.
but anyway i just thought it was funny, hey if ya can't laugh at yourself who can ya?
