I have a dodge ram 1500 v6. Only when I start it up for the day. It's sluggish on take off engine flashes. Then goes out and runs great rest the day. What could be the problem

It could be a dirty throttle body. Pull the air intake tube and check that.

Also, see if you can't get the computer read for codes. That will be the best way to diagnose the issue.
