Hey all. I just got my first Dodge, been a Chevy guy for the most part.
We got a smokin' deal on a 2008, 3500 quad cab, 6.7 Cummins with 90,000km (55,000 mi) and just couldn't pass it up.
I was setting things up today (phone, garage door, etc) and was wondering if there was a way to bypass the dome light on door open. My '06 Chev has a factory push button to eliminate the dome light coming on when the door is opened. We live by a major hwy and have had our cars gone through a few times when doors have accidentally been left unlocked. Having no light come on has saved anything of value being taken on those rare occasions.
Is there anything like that in my Dodge or will I be forced to install a switch to perform this function? Not sure if there is an "always off" switch on the dome light or not but I would prefer something on the dash.
TIA
