I have a new popping noise and have no idea what it is.. It only happens when in reverse and wheel turned all the way to either side.. If I back up to the left it pops on the right, and vise versa..

Front end parts that have been replaced:

Ball Joints upper and lower
Tie rod ends
Hubs
Shocks
Shock bolts

Does it speed up as you do??? If so it could be the tires rubbing Idk what else it could be... If your a 4x4 it's possible it's the cv-axles but not sure

I am 4x4 and thinking cv's is what it might be but only in reverse? The tires have been on there for almost a year and this noise just started..

That's my guess. And yes they could do it in just reverse. Depends on the bind they are in.

Mine does that occasionally when doing full lock slow turns, but it's like something in the axle arm or joint which makes a pop and then it's done, and not all the time.
