LOL, haven't been in a long time..........evidently her card thought it was time!

Hell, she lost it last Saturday........after going to Target. I assume she dropped it in the store, parking lot, something. We "caught" that it was gone and canceled it - figured it was lost in the house somewhere. Got the call this morning from the street dept.......and well - that was weird as hell!

Lets see the 268 & custom tune to get it to haul some serious ass (hopefully some slicks for the track too), then the cutout to get it sounding a little more aggressive and then there are a couple visual mods that will help give it a more aggressive look.

So here's a quick update/plan of attack for the next couple months:

180* T-stat - DONE
Power Wire - Goin in later on tonight
Cutout - Goin in tomorrow afternoon (will have pics and sound clips up soon after)
Cam - End of the month
Hood - Possibly end of the month
Slicks - Hopefully November
Drop / Caltracs - December (ish)
Roll pan - January (ish)
Paint / Decals - January (ish)

Cutout is in. Not to thrillied with the remote though. It seems like there is a delay in it so it wont close after you open it or vise versa for at least a minute or so after the other button is pushed so not to thrillied with it at all. I wish it had a toggle switch... Its loud as hell though, I missed being able to set off car alarms in the neighborhood, didn't miss the drone on the highway though.

Pics will be up tomorrow sometime possibly with a sound clip if I have the time to do so.

Hmm, never heard anyone with the raceland mention that delay before. Are you sure the unit is functioning properly?

Yeah before I sold mine, I never installed it and it would open immediately and even stop part way and shut if I pushed the button fast enough.

Its opening and closing but the remote is not connecting after one of the buttons is pressed until about a minute or so later, its not instant. I wonder if the battery is going out on the remote? One press opens it, and one press closes it, not holding it down for very long either. Im going to go out there in a little bit and look up there and see whats going on. It was doing the samething before it was welded up there so I dont know if its a bad unit or not, if it is its gonna be a ***** to remove unless they can send a replacement motor/box/remote for it.

Seems like it was just a signal issue, went out and climbed under it and it would open and close on demand 99% of the time, then it would loose signal and have to wait a few minutes and it would go back to opening and closing just fine.

I need to find a way to integrate the remote into the truck somehow though. Maybe make a mount somewhere on the center seat area or something.

I love raceland, sent them an email on sunday about the remote/box connectivity and they are sending me a new remote and box free of charge, should be here Thursday at the latest. I love great customer service

Nope doesn't leak, can hold your hand right up to it and not feel any exhaust gasses coming out
