Interesting read. But that article says 290 hp for the 4.7. I thought the new 4.7 was 310 hp? At least that is the number I have seen on the forums.

If you go to the bottom, they brake it down and show that rams had 310hp.

Dakota 302 hp @ 5,650 rpm 329 lb-ft @ 3,950 rpm
Aspen / Durango 303 hp @ 5,650 rpm 330 lb-ft @ 3,950 rpm
Grand Cherokee / Commander 305 hp @ 5,650 rpm 334 lb-ft @ 3,950 rpm
Ram 310 hp @ 5,650 rpm 329 lb-ft 3,950 rpm
