On an '02 SLT, were these considered options back then? My 2000 Sierra had both, so Im finding the lack of on teh Dodge weird.

My '99 SLT didn't have them either. They must have been options or found on the fancier models.

Auto lights didn't happen till 4th gen and I remember key fobs in the early 3rd gens.

My 2nd gen at least had keyless entry also

It isn't even all that bad to have it added to an alarm. I added power doors and windows to my truck, coupled with a viper alarm.

Ive been thinking of going with viper hows your experience with them?

Their remotes suck... The long distance ones may be better, but they are no way as sturdy as OEM remotes.

Other than that, the alarm works great. I have it set to unlock and lock my doors. The range is good. I'm not sure there are any better aftermarket alarm systems.

Damn.. somewhere I had found a link to a page that sold OEM Chrysler keyless entry for like $89. Came with 2 remotes and the module that plugged into the back of the gauge cluster. Thanks for the comments guys. I thought SLT was the upper end of the feature sets on Rams, and to not have keyless just seemed silly.
