I did this route wet sanded all the plastic them applied a adhesion promoter then primer wet sanded all that then i put on a coat of high heat paint wet sanded that then applied the coat i was going with then on top of that did a few coats of high heat clear. Sorry might be over kill but better safe then sorry ive had paint peel on me before under the heat.
