So I'm going to assume that my power steering pump is leaking. Here's a few pictures I just want to make sure I'm seeing this correctly.

It has looked similar to this since I bought the truck but I haven't had any problems with it. I still don't actually have any problems with it I just figure if that is whats happening I should replace it.

I don't what else it could be besides power steering. If it's getting harder to steer and you have to turn more, then yeah it is. If you haven't noticed a difference in steering, it's something else... I just don't know what else though.

That's not a factory clamp going into the cooler. I would just make sure there is no fluid leaking from somewhere else higher up. Your PS fluid level should be low as well.

That non factory clamp was the repair to the hose way back when these trucks came out. I had the 03 I had to ad the same clamp. In fact almost everyone form Ram forums ended up doing that very same clamp. To me it still looks like that is where the leak is coming from. If you can get it tighter I am afraid you will need a new hose. And probably a new hardware store clamp as well.

I would use a very strong cleaner, and drive it around after words to actually see where the leak is coming from.

The fluid level did run low earlier this winter but I didn't have any problems before it and I haven't needed to refill it since. I guess I'll try and clean it off and see what it looks like. I know the reservoir is above where those pictures are taken. Maybe it's the hose from the reservoir that is leaking?

Check all the fluids it could possibly be. Then just go from there.

It's probably PS fluid, especially if those black hoses are connecting to. Probably just a leaky end on one of them...

Like MegaMouse said, I'd clean the **** out of it, drive it for a few days, then see where it's leaking.

Just a heads up. Mine leaked WAAAAYYY more in the winter on start ups when fluids and pump was cold. No kidding, its the PS hose connection and cold combination for the extra leaking.

Thanks guys. I'll clean it off and then grab a new clamp or 2 and that should do it.
