Hemi what else??
My truck makes a knocking when hitting a bump or if I go up a driveway n the truck bounces to one side then the other. The ball joints and upper control arm and outer tie rod are replaced with moog parts. Now would the noise be coming from the worn out stock shocks. If not what else would it be, steering rack, steering box, something being loose, which I checked and did not notice anything. If the shocks are worn is my tires the only thing affected?

Thank you ahead of time!! I really positive it is the shocks. :)

sounds like shocks to me... mine topped out horribly when i did the t-bar crank... yours could be so worn out that they top out... you said you checked your steering rack to make sure it was tight?

Worn shocks only cost you control. Not so much treadwear. As long as you realise the problem, then the solution should be alright to wait for. The excessive bouncing or boat ride you feel now will go away with the new shocks. i'm not familiar with torsen bars. So i dunno about any damage that could occur from ****** shocks. (say that three times fast) lol. What shocks did you end up with??

Worn shocks can most certainly cause excessive tire wear, usually seen in "cupping" of the tire. If your shocks are warn bad enough, you will actually hear the tire lift and "thump" when it comes back into contact with the ground. Not only do the shock stop the bouncing of a vehicle, they dampen and slow the progression rate in which the wheel responds to a bump and returns to the road.

All true mega, all true. But The op would have to have really bad shocks imo. for that too happen. I've seen cupping before but that was from month's of neglect. not a few weeks thats what I assumed the time would be, anyway. Sorry if I misled you fatwombat.

Okay So I wanted to revive this question. I just replaced my shocks, I am still getting a knocking noise but its sounds more like its coming from the wheels which everything has been replaced or something loose under the truck hitting something... Its not as loud cause of the new shocks and all....
