Hey all... new to here. I bought this in July and have been thinking of all the possibilities. It was bone stock when I bought it, and I partly got it so I could fit my great dane in the front with me, but I'm also a mopar/jeep/dodge/ram guy. So far I've added a volant cold air intake and a bully dog gt tuner. From here where should I go? Let's pretend money isn't an issue.... (it is but one can dream can't they?)
LT headers, y-pipe or high flow cats/exhaust and call it good?
Stroke it?
6.1 or 6.4 swap? - I've read here that a swap is a massive headache and money pit. modernmuscleextreme has some crate engines, wiring harness kits that include pcms, and transmissions that could make it easier... if I wanted to put 15k into a truck worth 10k
I think the Daytona's came with borla exhaust, but after having it about 5 months it doesn't sound very aggressive, especially above ~1800 rpms, then it drones.
Also volant discontinued their 36957 ram air scoop that made the srt-10/daytona hoods functional. Anyone know where I could get one? It's so weird to me that dodge/ram use fake hood scoops ... other than the r/t shakers.
Alright, I stop ****** ya'lls ears off - my dane says he has to go out (and yes, he has to go out a lot haha ... and with high output too)
Also i couldn't remember the number my daytona was when I registered (its like 3327 or something)
Thanks
Zach

I don't know why that was bleeped out - I'm pretty sure I said talking but without the g. Here are a few pics of my 2012 Ram, which I miss. Let it go after the oil field let me go. The Daytona just passed 107107 miles yesterday, but its a worthy replacement.

Welcome. Yes the Daytona came with a borla exhaust. Honestly it's not too loud, but has a deeper tone and does drone so you probably do have it

that oem borla is very restrictive, I suggest new exhaust muffler back as that is the choking point. For the drone on my 06 hemi i did a cat back system which I modified. Just a pipe from the cat to muffler then to tail with a borla 14" xs muffler sounded insane but too loud, raspy, and droned. I ended up putting in a 12" piece of flex pipe between the cat and the muffler now sounds great.

(my truck was originally an SLT converted to daytona body kit and a few srt parts wheels and steering wheel.
