There is a rattling noise coming from the frontish of my 03. Kinda sounds like sheet metal or an exhaust heat shield. Anyone encounter this. I haven't had time to crawl underneath and check it out. Looking for some ideas of what it could be. Any answers would be helpful and save time. Time is a commodity especially having a one year old son and the wife and I both working full time

Get into the engine bay and start looking. It could be anything but the heat shields are a very decent start.

I'd also check the idler pulleys and the tensioner pulley, when their bearings go they can make quite a racket.
