didn't know that the parking break is a shoe set up, so the rotor is a rotor/drum.

turning the rear axle is a ***** without the wheels on, helps to take both calipers off and use something(i used the hammer i was tapping the rotor off with) to turn them.

the **** that is suppose to stop the pads from squeaking is sticky ****, but it stopped mine from squeaking.

wasn't that bad at all, i have done a lot harder stuff. best of all my ass isn't hoppin around when i hit the brakes any more.

Glad you got it sorted. Those shoes cost twice as much as a set of rear pads, the spring hardware kit is what failed on mine at around the 200 K Kilometer mark.

did your rotors come off easily? On my 05 the rear and the front rotors were a ***** to get off.

Wasn't real hard to get em off. Definitely didn't just pop off, but a persuading device helps lol. The fronts popped right off when I had to have them turned last year.

Thane's for answering my post blond moment question ken lol. Something I should have added to the first post, but this would be one instance were setting the parking breaks would be a bad idea lol. I did and then went...... wait a minute......... D'OH!

I know when I did mine I was surprised to find the rear caliper slide pins were more gunked up than the fronts. They needed a good brush up and lots of grease. On all my other vehicles the fronts were worse from the extra heat.
