Is this a rear shock issue?

I noticed the day that when I'm driving down the road and roll over small bumps i'm hearing what sounds like my bed bumping and moving around. When I pull and try and to get the bed to move it doesn't and sounds pretty stable. However if I stand on the bumper and bounce up and down I hear the shocks compress but at the top of the motion I hear a clunk? if I'm down under the truck and push up on the spare tire mount to extend the shock I hear the same clunk? what would cause this sound?

Mine does the same. It's the bushings in the shock mounts. I have to replace mine. They come with new shocks which is the route I'm goin lol hope this helps.

Droid Incredible 2 on the move!!!

That's what I'm thinking too. Maybe try grabbing the shock itself and moving it and see if it makes any noise

They are stock. I was thinking that was going to be the problem. I guess I'll add new shocks to the list of things to buy for the truck. So what are most people buying these days. Bilstein? Eldebrock? or anything else?

if they are the same as 2010 and 2011's, I just took off my OEM factory ones I'd sell...they have 429 miles on them :)

I'm not sure if they are the same or not. I'd be surprised considering the age difference of the two. but if you find out let me know.
