ok well im trying to send in my 6.1 cam to get reground to your specs. Now they are trying to get my to get new pushrods. I told them i already have the 6.1 pushrods and then I get this email back
"With a regrind you need longer pushrods since the base circle will be smaller. So they are a custom length. Otherwise you could just do a cam on a new core and use the 6.1 pushrods."

what pushrods do u have frog? i need to get this regrind down since aaron is coming soon...

When I had a 6.1 regind the base circles were measured and cut for it. I can give you the lengths tonight when I get home the ones that were for my 6.1 were a diff length just by a fraction then the stock 6.1 rods. For peace of mine I would get the custom cut ones. Who are you dealing with on the regrind?

Would like $300 for the whole thing. I had $100 in the cam core $300 in regrind, $135 in pushrods, $50 in cam gear. I was at $585 in my setup not including the springs. What is the spec of the Rubberfrog cam? Mine is 214/218 duration can get lift and any other numbers off the cam card tonight.

My lsa was 117 but the offset bushing moved the powerband to a lower rpm so it would be similar to what you have planned just prob 5 more peak trq and 10-15 hp but will be spread out across the whole rpm band. Has it already been shipped to be reground?

Ok well you look like you only $120 in your current set up, so your looking $200 more for regind and $135 in rods be in the neightborhood of $455. Im trying to think of a way to get you by but there is a deff difference in the lengths on those rods for sure.

Im basing that off of Inertias sight, my current setup has less on paper then what my old one did but I know from the ass in the seat setup in gettin more power sooner with a 214/214 duration on 112 then the 214/218 duration on 117. I could be competly wrong Aaron just going by posted info between the setups.

I got Stu's pushrods. Can you sell the 6.1s to pay for the new ones?
