I have a 2005, 2500 with a manual transmission. Last week I had the clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing replaced. The guy also suggested 3rd gear be replaced as well as 3-4 synchro's.
As soon as I drove away, I noticed that it was difficult to shift. I took it back, the mechanic drove it and said he didn't see anything wrong with it. He told me to drive it a couple more days and then come back.
I'm going back on Friday and here's what I've noticed. When it's sitting still and running but still cold, it shifts fine. However when moving it's incredibly difficult to get in to 2nd gear, unless the rpm's are high. Once it's been running a while, it goes in to gear fine.
Any thoughts??
Thanks in advance, Brian
