I've got an interesting problem that hopefully you guys can help me fix. My truck (specs/mods in signature) has a shake/shudder that feels like the back end of the truck is harshly bouncing up and down. This occurs when I'm trying to accelerate or maintain speed under load or up a hill - when the torque converter is locked up and the trans is in O/D. As soon as I downshift it smoothes out. Typically the speed in which this issue occurs is between 45-60 mph.
Interestingly enough, I have the same symptom when braking. This problem is worse when it's hot out (like yesterday, 95 degrees driving in traffic).
Recently I've replaced the following:
Spark plugs
PCV
air filter
cleaned TB
engine oil change
flushed trans, new filters
Changed oil in diffs, added friction modifier
New torque converter, valve body, solenoid pack
Tires are at OEM spec - 35 PSI front and back
