By the looks of that last pic, you need a new set of pads and maybe a new rotor. Does your rotor have any grooves cut into it?

Didn't look like it, i'll probably have to make an appointment with dodge and have them see if it's worth getting a new rotor, but most likely new brakes

If it isn't grooved bad, or at all, you should be able to have it turned and be just fine

If I was at work I could give you an estimate on prices. Retail, that is. No idea what a dealership is gonna charge

I had my brakes done a while back and I'm pretty sure I still have the paperwork..I'm gonna go check right now actually. Plus, if I was able to get away with turning the rotor, that should be of no, or very little cost right?

I'm gonna go look for those papers..

O'Reilly's turns rotors for $10 a piece so the dealership shouldn't charge much more if any

I figured the majority of that cost...the $193.05 was mostly because of the new rotors? I'm pretty sure those aren't cheap but I have no idea how much brakes are..

From O'Reilly's pads are anywhere from $20-$25 a set up to $50-$60. IIRC, we sell rotors for your truck for about $40 each(house brand w/ 1yr warranty) and Wagner's for $70 each with a lifetime warranty

Yea, those are in dire need of replacement. Mine's sitting in my drive right now with the rear end on jack stands cuz my pads were DONE. I'm takin my rotors in to work tomorrow to turn them and I got the pads ordered to be delivered in the morning. I had a pretty decent groove on the back side of the rotor from the little metal wear tab, I'm praying that I can turn them enough to get the grooves out without gettin em too thin.

talked to my neighbor a few mins ago and he said the brakes need to be replaced in the back along with the rotors in the back..he said its about 58 bucks for good pads (compared to 30 for less better ones) and he said i wont have to replace the brakes at least in the back for a much longer time than if i got the others. the rotors run for 60 a piece

i'm sure im getting a much better deal than if i had a dealer do it though lol

Your neighbor is saving you at least a hundred bucks over the dealer

yeah, he is the man LOL...i would have liked to help him do it.. that way I could have learned how to do it...then when I need to do the brakes again I can just get the pads from him and do it myself..maybe next time though, not a big deal
