I have the original starter on my truck with 206k miles but sometimes when I start the truck it's a smooth start and other times its a little groggy. Like the truck will sputter will starting up, almost as if the engine has flooded with too much gas right on start up. And then there's the start up where it sounds like the gear on the starter is spinning way too long right before starting up. Are these signs the starter is going bad or is it something else?
