Certainly, the engine will fit. They had 360s in the early 3G trucks. However I could see a lot of ancillary stuff not working without headache and $; motor mounts, radiator, electronics, etc.

I'd imagine the computer stuff is completely different. The 5.9s didn't use 545s either I beleive. Save yourself the time an get a junkyard hemi.

Welcome, since this is your first post I will not laugh. Ok, in short, NO.

To explain:
1. They are two TOTALLY different engines.
2. The 360 won't fit your trans.
3. Exhaust won't fit.
4. Intake won't fit.
5. Electronics will not only line up with the different engine, it won't run.
6. Hell of a bunch of little things I'm sure I'm leaving out

I agree this is not a common swap. The electronics are completely different. It would be far easier and cheaper to either rebuild your blown engine or get a salvage yard engine.
