Depends....on if you have powered mirrors or not.

In my 03 I had NON Powere tow mirrors...so when I towed something, they would stay up for about a week after bc I didn't want to mess with walking around the truck 5-10 times to adjust the passanger side.

Now...I have powered. I usually leave them down. Sometimes I might throw em up for fun or to tow.

Down unless towing my 20' car-hauler. If I have a smaller trailer on (14' or less), I am fine with them down.

Truckless...
When I first got my truck, they were down all the time. Then I started pulling every now and then with them up I just got used to it and how much I can see. I leave them up 99% of the time now, just because of that... And they look cool, lol

I decided to put them down, to see how it looks. I will say it does look better on a smaller truck. With bigger tires and a level I think it'll look better

Down for the most part. I've gone back and forth with mine quite a bit, but down works best I think. If I ever tow then yes they will definitely go up.

I think they look good up on lifted diesels, but on a stock truck it just doesn't work for me.
