Just off the top of my head, some I have experienced, some I have read about and hope not to experience:
Check the cooling system thoroughly to see if it has been kept up. The 4.7 liter does not deal with heat well, and are known for one redline to cause a leaking head gasket or warped head. The radiators are a definite weak point in these, they are aluminum with plastic end caps and split at the seam where the metal and plastic meet. The coolant must be kept fresh or the radiators also clog up.

If the truck has an LSD, the factory retaining clips for the clutch packs break off and float around in the diff until they are either caught by the magnet or wreak havoc on the gear set. The pinion seal is also prone to leaks.

Front wheel bearings are subpar from the factory.

The blend door hinges in the HVAC box are known to strip causing air to either come out of the wrong vents or none at all, and the heat or air conditioning to not transfer correctly.

This is all I can think of at the moment. Most of these problems happen pretty early on and are likely already dealt with being an 02. That is a nice truck you are looking at, and it looks like the PO took pretty good care of it. I hope the truck checks out and the deal goes through for you.

Bigdaddy hit the nail on the head, ive had almost all those things happen to mine except for the ac/heat problem. But my little 4.7 tows a heavy ass 21 ft boat, and is driven a lot. I have swapped the rear axle, new radiator, and fixed the leaking head gasket now i got 180k on her and she stills runs amazing once i fixed those problems and am now on top of them.

all in all look through the truck if you feel anything weird or hear anything while driving be wary about it and push the guy, but i love my 02 thing is awesome

I have a 2002 and i regret owning it everyday, but that one looks nice. I have the 5.9. if it has no known problems it should be fine.

May I ask what problems you are having with your truck that make you regret owning it? It seems that in the past 6 months my truck has given me more problems then in the almost 4 years I have owned it combined. It started with the heater core, then the brake booster, air conditioning compressor, and just had to have the rear end rebuilt. It's aggravating but it does have almost 173k on it. I still am not sure why but I still like it.

With that many miles, I'd definately be concerned about the head gasket/head warping issue they are prone to have. It's a clean truck tho!

This stuff happens. Had a 95 Stang Gt. Everything was going wrong with that car. I came home and called my dad and told him how pissed I was cause my car started having window problems, interior falling apart etc. My dad said something about the car that I just never thought about much, said"son it is a 17 year old car. Its starting to show its age." That is what I go by with my 02. Every time something goes wrong I know its a ten year old truck. Just something to think about. I don't regret my truck at all its my first dodge and I love these trucks more every time I drive it.
