Hi im new to this forum and new to owning a 3rd gen dodge i have a 2006 2500 with the 5.7 hemi with a 545rfe im about to put a second trans in this truck. Im wondering if anyone knows if a 2004 trans will work al the parts sites list 05-06 trans only. Im under the impression 545rfe trans are all the same except mabey the speed sensors and tailshafts from year to year. If anyone has swapped a older or even newer trans with good or bad results i would like to hear about it
