Yeah, I'm going to drop it off at Rimguard Xtreme in a couple days and let them go at it.

Uninstalled my superchips 3865. When it's unmarried, does it still say the portion of the last vin that was in there? It says "set back to stock", but shows my vin still.

Just bumping, want to make sure before I sell it. :)

Got a bunch of prep work done and priming on the headlight project. The heat in my little spray shack became to hot then had to stop. I just want to get these finished lol but as we all know, can't rush anything that has to do with painting

Cleaned out my personal belongings. Topped off the oil with a half quart I had laying around. Admired all the work I've done to it over few years. Gonna miss the old girl, but it's time to move on.

Dang, bud. Looks like you got a bit of an infestation there.

I got stung by one of these cranksuckers the other day. I forgot how much these hurt and it was just one.

I'll let you know. I'll be selling it once my truck is gone. That depends on this dealer not trying to give me $3,500 for my truck! Lol

Truck is back, 3 day turnaround!!!! The coolant leak I've been chasing for months was inside of the timing cover (5.9 magnum guys this is a common leak) driveshaft yoke was replaced and Heavy Duty U joints were installed, and lastly a new volant air intake was installed, truck almost sounds turboed now... key word "almost"

Very nice additions, the volant systems seem to be of very nice quality

??? There is no hose under the cover. The bypass hose is above it, but nothing inside it.

Haha sorry I fixed it, I was doing a bunch of stuff at once and wasn't paying attention. The hose up top can leak, the gasket is what I meant to say, the gasket had burst and caused a pretty bad leak. (Also I learned the 98 and 02 5.9 engines were made differently, something about harmonic balancers. Pardon if I mess something up, I had a shop do most of this work because I have 0 experience when it comes to getting inside engines

No problem. Glad you found the leak. Just didn't want to see someone pulling their cover looking for a hose! Haha

I'll be doing a separate thread but figured I'd throw it out now in case someone is looking. My grillcraft black powdered mesh grill inserts came today for my grill project and I am impressed with the quality of them for the $. Highly recommend. The construction is great, I test fit on my current grill and it fits great, the powder job is good and they are nice and sturdy. For the price these things are quality. Again there will be a separate write up about these with lots of actual pics once my grill is finished.

The last piece to all my projects I got going on arrived today finally. I tell ya fed-ex is the absolute worst. The box arrived looking like it went 12 rounds with Tyson, made the driver stick around while I opened it which half of the box was literally hanging open from being crushed and ripped, no clue how the grill survived. Just a few scuffs which don't matter since it's just getting prepped for paint anyway. Now all I need is time...... which is the one thing I never have. we'll get there eventually lol

Well Gents, I finally did it. Upgraded to a new 2017 Ram 1500 Rebel. I'll be moving to California for retraining soon, so I had to upgrade.

My 06 treated me well. Didn't cost me much. Got me to work. It was time to put it out to pasture though.

Got a good deal on a new Rebel. $37,988 before taxes and trade. All said and done, I walked out the door with a $36,425 tab and an appointment for a free LineX bed liner.

I'll be moving to the fourth gen section, but I'll creep around here from time to time!

It looks low because it has air suspension and it's in "in and out" mode, easy to get in and out.
