I know that feeling. Just put $200 in it in new coils just for that to not be the issue. Replacing the TPS tomorrow, hopefully that'll get it. There's still a lot of little issues here and here and sometimes I just don't know if it's worth it. I k ow I need new ball joints, I have a slow transfer case leak and I'm pretty sure a new exhaust is in my future. Not to mention new tires...

I’ve heard the transfer case leak is bad news, one of the seals goes out and you lose all the fluid eventually, taking the case with it. My buddy just had to replace his a few weeks ago

I think it's time to sell my truck.... I've been thinking about it for a while and I think it is the best option. It has had so many problems in the past year, and it seems this season it is starting to self destruct. Somewhat blown head gasket when cold, rusty bed with bondo filled in, wiring issues from previous owner putting in a viper fob, dealership ******* my paint and hvac lights, and now the new issue, when I turn the key it clicks but no start, after I cycle it for 5 mins it finally starts then key turns fine. But when I leave it sit for a while it wont start again. I just seems like it's not worth it anymore, too much money being put in for it to just break again. 141,000 miles is still low for this truck but for me it just isn't working out lol. Maybe I'll trade it in for a nice 2500 with a hemi or something. I love the truck but it seems like it doesn't love me at the time lol.

well the engine not starting sounds exactly like what i had happen, the water is building up in the cylinder, go to the autoparts and get some Bars head gasket stop leak, i know i know, but it works amazing, ill warn you, bypass the heater before you add it, but it will fix your head gasket, i did it to my truck at the time and i ran across it last year, 7 years later, still running and motor never been opened up...

dont give up on her, cars will do that to ya, fix her and keep her going, if you really love her dont let her die

I think the best is Blue Devil head gasket sealer. Will not bother the cooling system, but it is not cheap. Around $50 a bottle.

Rofl, power choke, love it!

To the thread: enjoyed my truck today. Bought a smaller drain pan to drain the excess oil tomorrow morning before work.

Was told that if it ain't ****** by now, It'll be okay, but that I should still drain the excess.

Looks like it's just the main part of the case that sprung a leak where the two main bodies meet. shouldn't be too hard.

NOICE!! I want a stick, myself. But I feel like it would be weird in a quad/crew cab truck.
My next new truck will be a 2500 Cummins with a stick, 100% garaunteed. I still will always keep my truck, hell, this truck is my casket [emoji23]

Nothing on the drain plug. Replace it if it looks bad but it probably won't. Mine is still the same 14 year old one and works fine.

Well, I tried a 12 point on it first and it started slipping/stripping. So it'll get replaced with a valve for sure on or by the next OCI.
