Rebuilding my front suspension. Stock replacement parts. Not looking to ever lift this truck as it's a daily, and I enjoy the stock ride quality. Should be ridin' smooth for another 100K now.

I think my cv's are showing there age....but with nutting but short trips I can wait til the 100 k mark,.....but with 70k on the clock and a mile to werk commute.....it's gonna be awhile.....might be a good retirement chore..... :roflsquared:

New front brakes, ceramic pads with drilled and slotted rotors, and rear diff oil change.

Filled up the tank, 100 l for 102$C. and trust me 1.02$/Litre is very cheap for us, we have not seen these prices for over 5 years...

I enjoy it personally

She's ridin' like a new truck now though. Fully worth the effort, imo.

Can't wait to change the front Diff oil... If it has the same effect as the rear diff, the next step will be all 4 shocks. I have a great deal for full kit on all 4 corners for a 113$ shipped...

Might me doing this during the Xmas break!

My CV joints are brand new so nothing there to swap... Ball joints, outer tie rod, Table bushings... all are A1, and just freshly got an alignment... Only thing for the spring time will be the Rack & Pinion maybe...

Removed front drive shaft as it ate another CV joint coming off transfer case. Winter is coming and now it's put another stocker in knowing it will eat it by March or find someone that can make a good aftermarket drive shaft.

Replaced all lug nuts (splined type) as driver rear tire decided to come off on way to work last Wednesday. Still haven't figured out what happened there but was lucky enough to be in left lane and able to swerve into left shoulder. Kept tire at axle and basically rotor dropped onto rim and road that to shoulder. Had to walk 1/8 mile to find 4 of 5 lugs :wtf:

1 to 10 - Was a pucker factor of 50

Yup, time to step in class......plenty a 3rd gens out there cheap under 17k........personally I would look for a 2011-2010 express 4x4........list was near 20k off the lot. (these are the bare bones ,no frills, roll up windows)......basically just a RAM and a hemi.

My wife really likes the frills, so I will need to find something with a bit of options in it. I was thinking about something in the 09 - 12 range, just need to find something in my price range that fits the bill.

here that, Anything under 25 k I would look in that age group.......guy I know at werk just picked up a chebby 2015 loaded for 34k........thats 33k more than I would spend,lol.
