You're absolutely right i will, the very basics on this is that its unsafe, the rear wheels on a dually should never touch, and as close as those are, i have no doubt the bulge is touching especially with any load.

Next he literally threw on some bumpers and cheap wheels along with a wrap, thats a far cry from a build, thats a wanabe build lol, all yhe little bolts on are just gaudy, i can respect his "build" because he purposely took away from the trucks flow and its safety as well as its towing capacity.

So nope, truck was better off stock

Edit: looking harder at the pix, the roof rack looks like a very half assed junction of two racks, and the Rockstar wheels, well those are just self explanatory, lol

The more i look the more stuff i see wrong...

Ok someone pass me the eye bleach

If that’s a company truck then it’s definitely not a “build”. That’s the boss saying “here’s 20 grand, make me something that’s gonna be some eye candy and make it look like we have a successful business”. I can almost guarantee he drove that off the dealer lot straight to the local “off road shop” and had them do all that.

Went to go get my pcv valve and they didn't have it yet. Got priced $50 and $40 respectively for stage 2 front and rear brake pads. Then went to Walmart for soap and got into a race with a V6 Camaro(I think).

I beat him for all of first gear, then he pulled out. And I fail-shifted into neutral from 2nd to D. :/

But I spotted this beast at Walmart, left him a couple notes, and caught a nice picture of the sky coming home.

So all in all a good (albeit short) daily driver's trip. Seriously to each is his own, but that chebby on cockstars is just a big ass eye soar. its not uncommon to shave the tail lights on a show truck and put "hide" tail lights somewhere else
I see. Looking more into this, you can also shave the whole tailgate and the 3rd brake light, too.

Personally, I think all the replacement taillights on the shaved taillight examples I saw were ugly. And fully shaving the tailgate is a major impracticality.

I much prefer your example of paint matched tails. How much did it affect the output, and how did you coat them.to get good coverage without, say, fully painting them put to no light output?

And can I just get some pics of them again? :3

Well most of the time the mods we do arent for practicality, but a shaved tailgate has its pratical uses, for example the one im building for my red truck has no handles on it what so ever, it can never be stolen and its remote latch means i dont even have to touch it to open it, and there are ways to shave your tail lights and put in some replacements that are virtually 100% invisible unless you are looking right up against the truck...

As far as the color matched tails you have to mix a special paint to tint them and spray it in a manner like i did that makes em look solid but still be very translucent
