Its sad when a bone stock 3/4 ton makes an older 3/4 ton look like a little baby

Didn’t do it today, did it last week. Put the new wheels on. I went with Ballistic Morax 20x9 0 offset. Tires 275/60R20 Cooper Discoverer RTX. I love the look, especially for less than $800 installed(not including tires, those I already had). 45c19016642e7cfd44a9b0f57ec99e7b.jpg

Okay saying pro is probably a huge overstatement haha. But it keeps dust out which is awesome!

Can everyone please face-palm at me right now?

But after that(and this is unrelated), can anyone with blend box/ac experience help me out in 3rd gen General Discussion?

Start a new thread on the issue in the Interior forum. I'll help out since I just recently replaced all the doors, evap and heater core in my 04.

Edit: Skip the new thread, just saw the other one.

Also, read this thread: http://www.ramforum.com/threads/hvac-repair-blen-door-replacement.118037/

Rust free beds are hard to come by up here in PA. And if you do find one, be prepared to spend $2000 or more for it

i find em around here for under $500 all day long, hell a 4th gen bed is under a grand

shoot, it would be worth a road trip to source a bed the same color as my truck if i needed one, thats a no brainer for me as opposed to major bodywork

After prep and paint you're probably at 2 g's already. Might be worth it to drive and pick up a bed like Demon says, or just spend the money you would anyway and save all that time.

This fix is not going to be perfect. I know that going into it, but its only gonna be around $500 and time. Maybe one day Ill get a new bed but for now this will do. Plus it will give me some experience in paint work and working on vehicles in general as I don’t do it on a daily basis.
