Quick question for the masses.
This just started happening, but when I turn the air on, doesn’t matter if it’s hot or cold, I hear something rumbling in the dash. The only way I could describe it is like a fidget spinner is spinning inside the dash. Or like a flap isn’t closing properly. Anyone have any idea what that could be? And how much of the dash am I going to have to take out to find/solve this? Thanks
concerning the rear axle strength of a 2004 3500 ram 4x4, primarily axle tub wall thickness on the AAM 11.5 rear axle. there seems to be alot of questions about how strong the 11.5 is compared to other axles like dana 80, dana 70, etc., especially in the tube wall thickness with conflicting results. i wanted to know for myself, so i took a 3/16 drill to the drivers side tube thats close to the center pumpkin and began drilling. first i taped off the drill at 1/4'' , because many experts said 3rd gen 11.5 axles are weak with only 1/4'' tube wall, not true i kept on drilling slowly 3/8''deep, then 1/2'' deep, and finally i stopped at 3/4'' guessing that was the limit and i didnt want to drill thru the tube. so there you have its 3/4'' thick 4'' diameter tubes on the 4x4 dually. this explains why my dodge ram can be handle a 5 ton payload with out bending the axle. these trucks are very under rated in the payload capacity. heres pics if how i did it. "Man i just had to know''Couldn't find one of these threads in this section (did a search) so, I figured I'd start one.
So...what did YOU do to your Gen3 today?
Just curious, why’s that? I think it looks pretty cool with the solid black dodge that’s the same color as the tailgatenot sure im a fan of a bed lined tailgate but i do know i would have debadged it before i did anything like that

Any pics? I was thinking about debadging my truck, but it’s an 08 and I’m worried that you’d be able to tell where they badges had been just from the sun not affecting the paint there for the last 11 yearsI just like clean and smooth, thats why all my trucks have a 100% shaved tailgate as well as the antenna shaved off the fender
