I purchased some NAPA Reflex shocks about 6 months ago (supposed to be monroe or compare to them) at $58 a shock I hoped they wouldn't suck so bad. Super bouncy and already feel like my stock shocks when they had 120k miles on them..

What are you guys running?

The truck i'm running them on is an 03 single cab 2wd. only suspension upgrade/mod is some rear lowering shackles

I recently upgraded to Rancho RS9000XLs which I am very pleased with. They are adjustable which allows you to customize the ride quality from setting 1 which is quite bouncy to 9 which is very stiff. But they are more expensive at around $85 each.

Fox 2.0's. I recently bought them to replace the Thuren Overlands that I was running and so far I am happy.
Bilsteins seem to be really popular right now. 4wheelparts has them on sale right now.

I got the yellow monroes in the rear, and Monroe quikstruts in the front (06 ifs). I love them. Not super bouncy. Good bump and road imperfection suppression. The yellow Monroes were $30 each.

I just installed DJM shocks - front so far & they are better since mine were leaking.
Awesome price compared to other shocks around here & online Canada.
$55usd each.

Will be ordering the rears soon.

4600s are awesome, had 156k miles on the OEM shocks - previous owner was a neglectful ******* :flipthebird: I don't know what a brand new ride feels like but my truck feels awesome right now, the 4600s are tight and smooth - not overkill. Install took a while but this was my first time doing shocks, had some minor issues that just took some time to resolve.

Like our new set of four KYB MonoMax. $225 to door from RockAuto.com so I hope they last for a while. The ride is awesome. A 5000 pound machine can pound the life of out shocks it seems.

Hey guys,, looking for some advice on the Bilstein 5100 ride height adjustable shocks do I need to change the springs to in the front or can i just put on the highest setting and use my original springs with 70,000 miles on them? Looking for a lot better ride this truck is running like a tank over small bumps. loaded it rides great.
