Went to the dealer today to get spark plugs and some other crap to do the typical maintenance on the truck this weekend. Gonna change the transfer case fluid and thought they all used atf+4 tranny fluid? Dealer said he needed my vin to see what it called for, bought the atf+4 anyway. Apparently, one of the transfer cases uses a special fluid, not sure though. Will i be safe with normal mopar atf+4?

I think the reason dealer said this is the transfer case with Auto 4wd which is in Sport and higher 1500's uses something different.

That makes sense, my truck just has the typical 4x4 shift knob on the dash so atf+4 should do it
