Here are two pics of my truck with the stock 20x9 +18mm (I'm pretty sure thats the stock wheel offset). I have 1" spacers so that puts them at about 20x9 -8mm offset.
Oh and I have 35x12.5x20 Toyo M/Ts

You shouldn't have any problems. My girlfriends truck rubbed the control arms with 35x12.5 stock. I put a level and 1.75" wheel spacers. They'll be taken off as soon as wheels are in the budget

What kind of spacer? Did you use your factory studs? Did they affect ride in any way?

Hub centric spacers with built in studs. They bolt to your hub using the stock studs. As long as you use hub centric spacers you will never know that they are there.

Similar to these.

Be careful with the spacers. Go too big and you might get some freeway speed wobble!

The +18mm offset is pretty close to stock. I have that same offset and this is how much they stick out:

The previous set of wheels was a +6 offset and this is what they looked like:

The other difference between the two sets is that my current tires are a 285 section width vs. the old set were a 325 section width. Also, the 325's were a shorter tire.

those new wheels and tires look great.

So your stock wheels were +18 offset? I thought the HD trucks had more offset than the 1500's.

I ran a 1 1/2 inch spacer with a 1/4 spacer between it and the hub. yeah buddy.

I miss my mud tires big time

I'd be careful going too big on spacers, even hub-centric ones can fail. I have a buddy who had the studs snap on one not too long ago basically from the centrifugal force of turning off a ramp on I-75 in Atlanta. Had to wait on a wrecker during rush hour traffic.
Personally, I won't use a spacer and will just buy a wheel with the proper offset/backspacing for my purposes.

Out of curiosity, why would you buy a wheel with a positive offset if you wanted the tires to stick out???
