So this is the first major issue I have run down in this truck. I recently was getting the truck ready for winter, new thermostat, new fluid, etc. But I noticed I get a puff of hot heat and then nothing. The truck doesn't over heat and I flushed the system with the new thermostat. Is there an internal component I'm over looking, blend door etc.., or is my water pump failing and not producing the correct flow? Any help would be appreciated.

Is the fan blowing any air?

Could be a blend door issue, I think nearly every 3G owner has had some sort of blend door issues.

Sounds like you might have air in your cooling system

Yup, air in the system. Burp it really good, make sure our fan is blowing good as well.
