Looking at putting 2" lowering shackles on my 06 1500 to get it a little closer to level. Anyone know of any negative issues with doing this? Should I have it aligned? Lowering rear would increase positive caster right.
TIA,
Sal

I installed a set on a buds 05 QC with 0 issues. At the yimr i had a 2/4 dropped rcsb that bottomed out one large pot holes. His never did. Then again i was 3.5" or so lower.

I have some 4 Sale if your interested.

No issues. Except most people report not getting 2" from 2" lowering shackles. On average they get about an inch give or take. Other than that. Zero issues as long as they're installed properly.

Thanks for your input guys. Think I'm gonna order the Crown kit off ebay and see how that works out. Only $53 shipped if I don't like it

Not bad but check these out if you didnt order yet. 2002 2008 Dodge RAM 1500 1 75" lowering Shackles Leveling Kit | eBay they look like the same thing but with a support bracket and 23$ cheaper with free shipping.

These are the ones im going to try.

When you get yours make note of ground to center of the wheel well edge before and after. Just curious what you'll get.
