Looks good. What kind of drop did you go with.

Thanks guys.

I went with a 2/3 drop. I already had 2" shackles on the rear, and after looking at the minimal arch on the springs, I knew I'd better put the stockers back on with the drop leafs. The Mcgaughys spindles were the newer version with the square hole already cut for the larger lower control arms on the 4x4.

Mine has only seen the need for 4wd two or three times where I live. A few light snow storms and whatnot. I've done the lifted route and this truck is a daily driver that besides the highway only goes down a gravel road and over grass in the yard, it's not for me anymore. I'd rather get rid of some fender to tire gap and just keep a clean street truck look with 4wd there incase I ever need it.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did this cost you? And do you have part numbers?

I plan on lowering my truck and because of the 4x4 I was gonna go with the GroundForce 2/4 drop but if the same results can be achieved by piecing together a kit and saving money I'd like to do that.

I got the spindles for about $377. JC Whitney has them and has a 10% off discount, I think they were $419 list price. The leaf springs I found on Ebay for $250 shipped. They normally are $180-185 each.

The spindles are the same for 2wd and 4wd. The older ones guys were cutting a square out to allow the larger 4wd lower control arm to have room, but Mcgaughys is now doing it from the factory. Mine were already notched out.

So how do I drop the front then with my setup?

I'm interested in this too. What all is needed to lower my '04 4x4? What parts do I need to get?

No one has a parts list of everything needed when doing a drop on a 4x4?

It looks really good!

I do want to do this to my 05 also. I took the route of torsion bars up front and raised it. I am not happy at al, so I am looking at doing something like this. I think I would be much happier.
